Apprenticeships
Trade Training Associates (TTA) offer vocational training and assessments including plumbing apprenticeships, electrical apprenticeships and heating & ventilation apprenticeships that meets the needs of individuals and employers. Learners can study at level 2 or level 3 depending on their abilities and experience to gain nationally recognised trade qualifications.
Apprenticeships are available for employed and non-employed subject to a successful initial assessment and are accredited via City & Guilds.
TTA offer two delivery patterns for modern apprenticeships:
Program Led Apprenticeships
Trainees without an employer spend 6 months in-centre where they will achieve a level 2 technical certificate in Heating and Ventilation followed by 3-6 months in an employer placement where they will achieve the relevant NVQ.
At this stage TTA will work with the trainees to locate a suitable employer where they can progress onto the next level of the apprenticeship.
Employer Led Apprenticeships
Trainees with an employer will attend the training centre on a block-release pattern and will achieve an advanced apprenticeship.
All are subject to an initial assessment of skills and capabilities. Places on one of our Electrical Apprenticeships, Plumbing Apprenticeships or Heating & Ventilation Apprenticeships are offered subject to satisfactory completion of the initial assessment.
Employers
TTA offers employers a recruitment service to meet their requirements for relevant apprenticeships. We have a pool of learners completing a full level 2 framework in Heating and Ventilation who we can recommend. These learners will start immediately on an advanced framework with TTA for a period of 2 years becoming fully qualified at this time. This reduces the time employers have non qualified staff.
